Disciplinarian

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for Disciplinarian to execute systems and structures that drive a positive student culture. The Disciplinarian will work directly with students by overseeing consequences, conferencing with students regarding behavior, and tending to behavior interventions. The Disciplinarian will work closely with our Deans of Students in order to foster a strong student culture routed in high behavioral expectations.

This position is a full-time position.

Requirements

·        Strong commitment to, belief in, and alignment with mission and vision of school

·        Minimum of a high school diploma, bachelor’s degree preferred

·        1 year experience preferred

·        Excellent verbal and written skills

·        Strong organizational skills

·        Firm presence interacting with students

·        Ability to give and receive feedback

·        Data Analysis Skills

  

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Supervise Dean’s Office and On Notice Students

·        Issue Consequences

·        Ensure effectiveness of consequences

·        Communicate with families

·        Track and analyze behavior data

·        Collaborate with Dean of Students to ensure expectations are met

 

 SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Responsible for tracking behavioral data

·        Runs Detention

·        Supervises and supports On Notice Scholars

·        Helps run In School Suspension Scholars

·        Conducts Post Suspension Conferences, Send out Conferences, and RCPU conferences

·        Issues consequences for send outs and/or repeat offences

·        Oversee and guides exercises for On Notice Scholars

·        Ensures systems related to student behavior are running smoothly
