Mrs. Callis was born and raised just north of Tulsa in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She graduated from Northeastern State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education. She started her career in education for Broken Arrow Public Schools where she taught 6-8 Physical Education and Adapted Physical Education for 7 years. She moved with her family to Texas where she worked for Harmony Public Schools, a public charter school as a PE teacher for 2 years before joining the administration team as Dean of Students. After 6 and half years as Dean of Students, her family moved back to Oklahoma. She is excited to be a part of the THA Familia as an Assistant Principal, to serve a community she has always called home, Tulsa.
