Mr. Millman is originally from Richmond, Virginia and is the 10th grade English Language Arts teacher at Tulsa Honor Academy. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from William and Mary and received his bachelor's degree in English. During his time at William and Mary, he received a fellowship grant to pursue research and write an undergraduate honors dissertation thesis on the author Nathanael West and his context in 1930's American Modernist Literature. Mr. Millman is a 2020 corps member of Teach for America and prior to joining the organization, he tutored high school students in English, worked with all age groups in teaching guitar and, in the summer of 2020, he worked with Springboard in teaching students reading and comprehension skills. He is thrilled to be a part of the THA Familia because of his passion for reading, writing, and working with students and their communities in pursuit of collective success.
