Jonathan Mondragon is originally from El Paso, Texas and is an 8th grade ELA teacher at Tulsa Honor Academy. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at El Paso and received his degree in Political Science with a concentration on the Politics of the Law and a minor in Philosophy of Language. After COVID struck and changed our lives forever, he sought a career change in 2021, where he could help others and better his community. He is a proud Chicano and literacy teacher that strives to teach through world events and literature where scholars are able to see and represent themselves. Even though he is a proud El Paso native, he considers Tulsa his new home.
