Family Involvement

At Tulsa Honor Academy, we believe that parent involvement and communication is crucial in the development of a scholar. Therefore, we have established multiple ways to remain in close communication with you and all other parents.

Parent Involvement Opportunities

Progress Reports.

Progress reports will be sent home weekly. The first half of the report will reflect how your child is performing academically. The second half will show how your child is developing their character in accordance to our core values.

Quarterly Newsletters.

Newsletters will be distributed to each scholar in advisory to take home quarterly. They will serve as an additional line of communication that openly informs you of Tulsa Honor Academy news, successes, and opportunities for involvement.

Report Card Pick Ups.

Parents will be responsible for attending four mandatory parent teacher conferences throughout the school year.  Scholars’ academic performance and growth and character development will be discussed and at the end you will be able to pick up your scholar’s report card.

Monthly Family University Nights.

At Family University Nights, you will be given the tools to effectively support your child for success in our school community.  The topic of each meeting will vary depending on the general needs of either the parents or scholar. This is another great opportunity to mingle with THA Staff members, as they will run these meetings.

Family Orientations.

All Tulsa Honor Academy scholars and their parents/guardians will be required to attend an annual Family Orientation. The orientation will serve to remind scholars and families of commitments we have made to support scholars. School wide policies and expectations for the school year will be outlined and described in detail.
